Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Quotes 94. Today we have another one
from Confucius. We haven't done one from in a while, but here's the quote, " The man
who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right. " All right what does this
mean ? Let's take a look at the note. This quote by Confucius is trying to express the idea that the
person who has confidence and determination is more likely to be the
one who succeeds. So obviously the man who says he can
is the person that will have more confidence and determination and he will
be more likely to be the successful one. Let's continue. The person who says he can't
probably lacks confidence and determination to get ahead and be successful. So he probably won't.
So therefore Confucius says they're both right. So the one who says he can is
probably the one who's more likely to actually put in the effort, have the
confidence to be successful and the one who says he can't will probably end up
giving up. And probably won't end up being as successful so he says they're
both right. All right it's a good quote. It's good to think about. I hope you got it. Thank
you for your time. Bye-bye.
