Tio Spanish, learn Spanish
Hello my friends, welcome. Today I am going to teach you the greetings.
When you meet a person you do not know while inside a building, greeting her/him is polite.
- Hello! - Hello
And to say one's goodbyes: Goodbye
It can also be a bit more informal
- 'Morning - 'Morning
- See you soon Even though we are not going to see him again soon.
Let us see how to greet when you meet a person who you already know
- Hello Tio Spanish - Hello Lola, how is it going?
- Very good, and you, how are you? - Very good too.
In general, we use short questions and short answers.
The way of greeting depends also on the time of the day.
In the morning, since when you get up until 2 pm, you say: good morning.
From 2 to 9 pm: good evening.
And from more or less 9 pm to the time you go to sleep: good night.
After a conversation you need to say goodbye.
- Good bye Tio Spanish - See you soon, Lola
The form of say one's goodbye depends also on when you believe that you are going to see the other person again.
If you are going to see her/him the very same day you can say: See you later.
If you know that you see her/him the day after, you say: see you tomorrow.
When you do not know when you are going to meet her/him again you can say: see you soon or bye for now.
And of course, when you say goodbye because it is time to go to bed, you say: Good night.
Well, it is time to say goodbye.
Hope you have learnt much and hope to see you very soon.
See you next time!
