Hi, I'm Kousha, a community manager at Google.
We receive oodles of questions about Google doodles, like,
who makes them, or how the themes get selected.
Doodles are fun and surprising changes that are made to the
Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and
the lives of famous artists, innovators, and scientists.
A team of designers get together to brainstorm and
decide which events will be celebrated with a doodle.
They pick interesting events and anniversaries that reflect
Google's personality and our love for innovation.
The ideas for the doodles come from numerous sources,
including Googlers and Google users like you.
Got some good ideas for doodles?
Visit our doodle site at the URL down here and share your
ideas with us.
You can look through our previous
doodles there as well.
We receive hundreds of requests every day.
So unfortunately, we can't create
doodles for all of them.
But we'd love to hear from you.
