Hi I'm Willy
I'm going to show you the effect of shutter speed today.
So, my camera is at one over a hundred twenty five seconds.
And, I'm going to
pan my hand as I move along
and notice that the background is still fairly sharp.
My hand will be sharp because it will be moving at the same speed as the camera.
I'm going to go down to one over sixty seconds i'm going to try to keep my hand
at the same speed.
The background gets blurrier.
At one over thirty
and one over fifteen.
Notice at each stage the background gets blurrier and blurrier. And shutter speed has
the effect of blurring out a background or freezing the background like a waterfall.
If you shoot at
two seconds you will have a really nice blurring and silky effect of the water
where if you shoot at one over five hundred seconds the water drops images
flow into place.
