Have you ever asked why the video im watching stops loading everytime?
I have proof that shows the speed limit on YouTube.
(I'll try to explain in the most simple way.)
1º Find a video with high quality (720p,1080p,2-4K etc)
2º On the video player, right click and then select "Nerd stadistics or something"
Notice that what is not blurred is the transfer speed.
It is represented in Kbit/s, i.e. : If you download something at 600KB/s, here you'll see "4800kbps".
Actually I can download aprox. at "12958KB/s", so, in YouTube it should be "103667Kbps"
3º I'll show you my won video recording at 1080p, it will show all current information, then continue with the "Experiment".
How many MB will it download in 1 minute?
As you can see, the download speed is arround the "2000kbps/8000kbps" (250KB/s-1000KB/s)
In total have been downloaded almost 3/4 Video (Approximately 60MB in 1 minute)
4º Now download the same video with Jdownloader and see the difference.
That proofs that YouTube limits the speed. (On flash player) And depending on the hour it could be slower.
