So when starting to collect Flow Blue
that is made in Staffordshire, England, do not go to Staffordshire England to collect
because all of it is over here or all of it is over here. They exported this in large
quantities early in the 1800's so must of a wide range you will find right here in this
country. When looking for Flow Blue, you can start looking in your local shops and inquiring
about if there is anyone locally who collects and sells it. It is a good place to start
and the shows are also another place to look at American early piece collectibles and shows
like that are going to have a higher quality of porcelains and ironstone to sell and those
are a good place to start. Also auctions that are selling porcelain like this. You can find
good auctions that will have several or a few pieces for sale at any one given time.
Another place to look is the internet. There are many web pages with people who sell collections
of porcelain on pieces of Flow Blue like this. You can also look on E-Bay. E-Bay also has
a resource for collecting.
