Hello, my name is Holly Martz on behalf of expertvillage.com. We are going to be discussing
how to travel with your pet fish. In this clip, we are going to talk about how to properly
remove your fish from the aquarium and how to introduce it back into the aquarium for
traveling. One thing you want to remember is always take and remove your fish from the
aquarium when you are going to transport for traveling. Remove him first so that he doesn't
get stressed out. Then you want to remove your accessories that are inside your tank.
Then you will want to remove your water. Remember always save your water in your container whenever
you are traveling with the same water. Always secure your fish in a container where it cannot
be moved between the back seat and front seat on the floor is the best place to put them.
Cover the container up and then when you are bringing it back, you want to take and always
remember take your fish out first. Put some water from your container into the plastic
bag and then you would add your accessories into your tank and then you put your water
in there. Always put your fish in the plastic bag inside your container for approximately
15 minutes. Things that you might want to remember. Remember to always have the right
size container for your fish. If you are traveling more than 1 fish, you want to make sure that
you have the proper size container and do not feed your fish prior to 24 hours traveling.
You don't want to take them and be swimming in their own waste.
