ABBI: Hi I'm Abbi
DAVE: And I'm Dave and this is EW's TV Recaps for
March 7th. On last night's American Idol, America voted and Emily Pa-reeze went home.
What do you say Abbi, let's have a moment of silence for her.
[Emily singing "STAAARRRRRRS"]
DAVE: I SAID MOMENT OF SILENCE. PLEASE STOP SINGING
THAT SONG IT HURTS MY EARS.
ABBI: The bottom three also had Gina who's struggling
to stand-out and MK, who's struggling to connect. I'm really rooting for MK! Hats off. No seriously.
She took her hat off. That's how you know things got real.
DAVE: I've getting nervous for the ladies this season
though, Abbi. This is the second week in a row the bottom three have been all girls.
Are they having a tough season or what?
ABBI: It might be because all the guys are really
genre-specific. Or else America HATES WOMEN?!
DAVE: I only hate one woman, and it's that annoying
girl on that AMERICAN EXPRESS commercial.
ABBI: Yeah she owes me money.
DAVE: You know what I loved about last night's episode
though?
ABBI: The performance by Phillip Phillip Phillips Phillips Phillips-- I never know when to stop
saying his name.
DAVE: No, I loved when Randy tried to backseat judge,
and then Harry just read him to filth.
[Harry: I wish I could I be a mentor. I would be in
the hotel til 5am. I was hired as a judge. I have a very short amount of time to give
you information that will help you grow. ]
ABBI: (fanning herself) Sorry I was just thinking of Harry Connick, Jr. in my hotel room until
five AM.
