The TGV station at Saint Exupery has several purposes.
It is a station which represents the east of Lyon,
but also a part of the Isere and Bresse regions.
It also compliments stations in central Lyon.
Its second purpose is intermodality,
especially its proximity to Lyon-Saint Exupery airport
from which we are able to cover the Alps and the Rhone valley.
2012 is a special year for the SNCF,
considering the change in train times.
Lyon-Saint ExupŽry is not an exception to the rule.
We have kept the same number of routes as Paris,
which means 12 trains leave for the capital and 11 return.
There will however be two morning departures from Lyon,
arriving in Paris before 9am.
There will also be new openings to the Mediterranean.
Lyon-Saint Exupery will be linked to Marseilles for the first time,
as well as the whole of the French Riviera as far as Nice.
We are equally going to intensify traffic
to Milan and Turin in Italy with 3 daily departures.
Our working relationship with Lyon Airports is a regular one,
because we define our offer together.
We also work alongside one another to develop
common promotional operations.
