Welcome to Lesson 3: Selecting Pharmacies.
There are five Medicare Plan Finder lessons.
This lesson will cover how to select up to two pharmacies
using the Medicare Plan Finder.
After Entering Your Prescription Drugs,
you will continue to the Select Your Pharmacies page.
Here you will see an alphabetical list of pharmacies
available in the zip code you've entered for your search.
You can also click on the link "Show Pharmacy Map" to see a map
of pharmacy locations, with the list of pharmacies organized
on the left of the page .
As you can see the "MY CURRENT PROFILE" box has been updated
with the Drug List ID and password date.
The "Important Coverage Information" link will provide
more information about your coverage and whether or not
you receive help paying for your prescription drugs.
To view more pharmacy choices you can expand the search radius
by using the drop down list.
You can also change the search location by clicking on "Search
New Location or by Pharmacy Name" to enter
a different zip code.
These features may be helpful if you travel or use
a Long Term Care pharmacy.
You can choose up to two pharmacies by clicking the
"Add pharmacy" link beneath the pharmacy of your choice.
Keep in mind that if you select a pharmacy and the pharmacy
is not in the plan's network, then the Medicare Plan Finder will
display out-of-network prices in your results.
Once you have selected pharmacies,
they will appear on the upper left side of the screen.
When you are finished, click "Continue to the Plan Results."
This concludes Lesson 3: Selecting Pharmacies.
The next step in using the Medicare Plan Finder is Refining
and Sorting your Results.
