ASA What DO you Do?
Barry Lebow; Chris, we've added, Lets look at...
We're sitting across.. You're an ASA member..
You're sitting across the dining room table Mr. and Mrs. Seller
Now.. I advocate that any good realtor can sell
a house... But thats all they do...
With an accredited Senior agent... one of the key buzz words are that the Accredited
Senior Agent makes it easy. We ease the process.
Lets go through the different services that an ASA member can give to the public.
To the seller.
Christopher Newell: Sure
?I think that one of the very key things, is that an ASA member works from the counselling
perspective rather than a commission focused selling process.
SO the goal of an ASA member is to primarily discern if there is a fit.
And if their expertise can even help the person thats seeing them.
And that goal is reached by having a conversation, maybe an hour long conversation, and at the
end of that conversation, both sides will know if there is a fit..
and How and what help is needed...
Barry Lebow: Its about them, Not about the sales person
Christopher Newell: Thats Right.
Barry Lebow: In other words commission Breath does not take over.
Christopher Newell: Right. Completely. Commission Breath does not take over. I think once the
decision has been made, there is a need for some services,
the ASA member brings in what I call, a network of exceptional specialists.
Barry Lebow: Lets Talk about that.
Christopher Newell: Well, so, a network of exceptional specialists, One component of
that would be a Transition Managers ...
Barry Lebow: Yes..
Christopher Newell:where its a person or company... who comes in and they will help the home owner
decide what to do with all their "stuff". and we will talk about that in a later video.
They have in their network of exceptional specialists, tax lawyers, estate lawyers,
financial planners, movers, anybody thats needed, so that basically its
a one stop shop for the older home owner who is just overwhelmed by all the choices that
they have to make.
Barry Lebow: Do you believe that we, an ASA member could actually say to someone... Go
Away for a couple of weeks, and when you come back, Its all done?
Christopher Newell: Completely, Completely. And we've seen that. We've seen that with
people where the transition management company, for example, and they will work with the home
owner, whittle down their "STUFF"
and they will pack it all up, and they will go to the person's new home,
and set it all up SO....
They can literally go away for a week or two, come back and move into their new place,
And its all set up ready for them to go...
Barry Lebow: Beautiful Isn't it?
Christopher Newell: It sure is!
Barry Lebow: Beautiful When It Works
Christopher Newell: Yes.
