Hello everybody. So today's video is beneficial to both ladies
and to men. So today we're going to be talking about how to create more volume through your
hair. Now particularly people with fine hair, anyone
thats got super heavy hair, you find that your hair is quite limp but it just looks
like we've done nothing with our hair. So this will help you to look like you have
a least made an effort in the morning. The other added bonus of this is that you
will get an extra day out of your shampoo, so you don't have to wash your hair quite
as regularly which is fantastic, especially in winter. Ok, all i've done at the moment
is two shampoos, one conditioner. Very very important that you keep your conditioner and
any other hot tap deep treatments, or any treatments of any sort off the scalp or the
roots. Now, This is because it creates excess oil and it will also create heaviness which
will weigh the hair down. So two shampoos, conditioner from your midlengths
to your ends, hop out of the shower and i've simply towel dried. Now I'm going to be using
some Evo products today but you can use whatever you desire, However it is important that you
use a product to assist you. So I'm going to be using a root boost spray, and I'm going
to very gently, just spraying this all over, directing it at my regrowth.
Only needing about 5-6 squirts and that's enough. Now i'm going to be using the shape
*** for me today, but again andy sort of a thicker fire product works perfectly. Don't
use too much product with fine hair, you're not needing too much. And what that's going
to do is help to blow out the hair shaft a little bit and help to thicken it up. Now
what i am going to do is pop my head upside down because we're really going to utilize
gravity to help us, just to give it that little bit of extra lift. So i'm just going to pop
my head upside down now and blow dry and i'll see you in a second!
Now, we are not just blasting the hair absolutely everywhere, we really are applying an easy
technique to create a little bit of structure, because the more structure you have from the
beginning, means the less work you need to utilize later.
Use your other hand to direct your hair exactly where you would like it to go. Now what I
mean by that is if you've got a side part, then use your hand to get in there, your fingers
against your scalp and really help to work that hair up and over, so that when you pop
your head back upside down, it's going to be sitting almost, it's got the general direction
as to where your haircut feels and wants to go. We are aiming for the hair to be 100%
dry, so you should always have your blowdryer set to the middle setting only, never have
it on the full heat setting. You can have it set to provide full blasting power but
please don't ever have that hairdryer set to the hottest temperature because it is very
damaging for the hair, and your hair simply doesn't need it. It's more about the movement
of the hair and really working those hands through the to get natural air flowing, as
well as the blowdry, just to help you along the way. Should you have a cowlick or a hard
crown to work with, still dry the hair 100%, flick your hair up and from there i would
wet that section down again, and then working with the blowdryer and fingers, direct that
hair exactly where you'd like it to go. It's much simpler than trying to leave one area
of the head a little bit damp and blowdrying the rest of the hair to 100% dry.
Ok, alright so now obviously we need to put a little bit of structure into the hair because
it's everywhere! So using a wide tooth comb, i'm just going to give it a little bit of
structure, directing the hair where i would like it to sit. I have my part over here.
Now as you can see, it's already starting to look quite voluptuous and quite full and
all we've done is a five second blowdry. Now, utilizing the product has helped a lot. Ultimately,
what you can see is that the hair really has come away from the scalp and it has thicken
from the mid lengths to the end, which is what we're really looking for. This is your
base, so from here you would either do a cute little upstyle, or if you just wanted to put
a little bit of serum through the ends to get rid of those last few fluffys, really
it doesn't matter, this is simply the base adn you can do as you desire from here. But
you will defintely get another day out of your shampoo and you look absolutely beautiful
ready to step out the door! Have a lovely day everyone!
