The initiative by the international cultural fund “The world of Caucasus”
gathered more than 500 participants.
The exhibition project has a very beautiful name “Peaks. In palms of the sky.”
Peaks – the Caucasus. Peaks – the authors presented in the exhibition;
the authors who create peaks of visual art of Russia and the Caucasus.
Masud Fatkulin, chairman of the executive council of the international confederation Artists Union of the CIS
The Caucasus has always had outstanding artists.
They have taken a special place in all our all-Soviet, Russian, and all-Russian exhibitions.
The Caucasus is a center of huge talents and opportunities.
The fact that these talents are presented at this exhibition proves that we are one country,
one peoples, we are united by love to beauty.
The outstanding pictures presented at the exhibition uncover the idea of peace, good, and love.
I think the more cultural actions we have,
the more people will learn about the Caucasus and understand that we are one country,
we should love each other, help each other.
Andrei Kovalchuk, a member of the executive council of the Artists Union of Russia
We admire the works presented by artists from many cities of Russia,
first of all it is the Caucasus – Vladikavkaz, Baku, and other cities of the Caucasus.
Here we can see artists from Moscow and St.-Petersburg, and other cities.
The Artists Union of Russia, I think, will award you, because we cannot simply pass by.
I congratulate all artists, participants of the exhibition.
Many of them are my colleagues and friends, I mean sculptors.
Moscow has a great number of professionals in the sphere of art
who were born in Ossetia or live both in Ossetia and Moscow.
As a sculptor I am glad to see a whole layer.
By the way here we can see works by artists who didn’t have an education,
but became initiators and laid the basis,
the tradition of folk art which later began to please us at our exhibitions.
Alexander Totoonov, deputy chairman of the government of North Ossetia, plenipotentiary envoy of the republic under Russian President
Today is another joyful Caucasus Ossetian day of pure great country in Moscow.
I think it is significant for all of us, and I congratulate you on such a day.
Its importance will be appreciated later, as an understanding of something great comes with time.
I can say that top officials of North Ossetia and Moscow,
including the head of the republic Taymuraz Mamsurov and the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin,
have marked the importance of this exhibition for the cultural life of Moscow and the whole country.
Neimat Nagdaliyev, deputy general secretary of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress
The Caucasus is a great land, a cradle of an ancient culture.
It is a big deal to have an opportunity to collect all these works together.
The All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress couldn’t help but participate in this project.
It is an interesting initiative, event, project.
We hope that the event will become a tradition.
We hope we will have an opportunity to conduct such events in the future.
We will take part in them with great pleasure.
We are sure you will be satisfied by the exhibition.
We are happy that our young representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora present their works too.
They were given an opportunity to show their abilities and talents.
