Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, today
I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a pressure washer.
Though pressure washers vary in sizes and power, some are electric and some are gas,
some are big and some are small, they all pretty much operate the same way. There are
various components to a pressure washer that you will find that are similar between various
models of shape and size. One particular part that you will want to become familiar with
is this piece called the unloader. Basically what it does is when the pressure washer is
not being used, it redirects the water through this hose back into intake and it comes back
to the output again and just keeps recirculating water. The reason for this is the pressure
washer is trying to pump the water and if you let go off the trigger and stop using
the water and that pressure needs to go somewhere, so what it does is it shifts it through this
hose and just keeps recirculating until you repress the trigger again at which time it
will come out where the hose end is.
