My mom said, "One day you'll be a martyr, my son."
A terrorist invades America from the inside.
I moved to the Bible belt specifically.
See what stops him.
In terrorism, if they said, "We're going to take care of you, you'd better run."
Well, welcome to The 700 Club. Here in America, we face the potential of threats of terrorist
attacks, but people in many other countries live with the reality of terrorism every day.
That's right. One example: Christians in the southern Philippines. They're constantly targeted
by Muslim rebels who want their own state. Gary Lane has the story.
Albert Francisco and his family have been forced to flee their home in southern Mindanao
many times. Violent Muslim rebel groups have been waging war on the Christian population
since he was eight years old.
It was endless running. We had to evacuate because they burned our houses. We didn't
want to get shot in the crossfire between the militant Muslims and the soldiers.
On one fateful day armed men belonging to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, or MILF,
stopped Albert and his niece as they tried to escape. Stray bullets struck Albert in
several places on his body.
I thought it was the end of my life. I was shot in the head and my legs. I heard one
of the man say, "Make sure he's dead." I prayed to God, "Lord, please give me a second life.
I will give my life to you."
Francisco miraculously survived the gunshot wounds. But fragments are still embedded in
his head and legs. An infection in his head and legs almost killed him, but emergency
help from an international Christian group saved his life.
I prayed to God to help me in my situation. I didn't have the money to pay the hospital,
and that's when the Christian worker came and his organization paid for my surgery and
all my medical needs.
Jane Tongcua was six months pregnant when she was shot in the chest in the midst of
the fighting. She says timely assistance helped save her baby's life.
The heartbeat of my baby was very weak. I thank God for Brother Levi and the Christian
group who helped us. I really felt God loves me.
Today, Jane and her husband are happy parents of a healthy baby boy. They are praying that
the conflict will soon end so their son and his generation can live in peace in Mindanao.
(Mindanao, Philippines): Twelve Christian families are still living in a camp as refugees
more than a year and a half after their village was attacked by militant Muslims. These little
children would love to go home, but they have no home to go home to. Brother Levi is a Christian
worker to the Muslim areas. He asked us to hide his identity. He says for many years,
Christians in Mindanao have suffered persecution at the hands of Muslim extremists.
They want to Islamize the whole world. Our church was burned three times, but still there.
They think they can defeat the Christians, but they could never defeat the Christians.
There will be revival, so the Muslims could not do anything it.
Christians like Albert and Jane testify this is true. They say their near-death experiences
have drawn them closer to God.
I am alive today so I can tell those who don't believe in God to believe in Him because He
is real. He gave our lives. He knows what is best for us. And we should be happy to
serve Him.
Gary Lane, CBN News, Mindanao, Philippines.
That's what it's like in southern Philippines, where you have rebel groups trying to establish
their own autonomous state, and in that process on a constant rampage. One of the things that
Operation Blessing has found, though, is that they don't necessarily like living in the
jungle and that when you go to them with love and compassion, medical care, food, those
kinds of things, we are finding out that they want to leave the jungle and they want to
put their arms down. It's when we reach out with love and compassion that you find some
amazing things about your enemies. Lee Webb has the rest of our top stories from the CBN

Gordon, Pakistan's Taliban carried out a deadly attack today to avenge the death of Osama
bin Laden. A pair of suicide bombers blew themselves up at a Pakistani military installation,
killing at least 80 people.
And CBS News is now reporting that the Seal team that killed Osama bin Laden recorded
the entire raid on high tech helmet cameras mounted on all 25 of the Navy Seals.
A pro-life lawmaker in Florida demands an apology from a fellow Democrat who insulted
her for supporting a law against abortion. Charisma magazine reports state representative
Daphne Campbell voted for a bill requiring women seeking abortions to have an ultrasound
first. On the House floor, she quoted the biblical commandment, "Thou shalt not kill."
That angered fellow Democrat Scott Randolph, who sits next to her on the House floor. He
reportedly threw papers on her desk, used profanity, and shouted, quote, "You'll never
be elected." Last week, Campbell joined about two dozen protestors outside Randolph's office
calling for an apology. Campbell says Randolph's behavior amounts to an attack on all people
of faith.
A memorial service for Pastor David Wilkerson will be held Saturday in New York City. Wilkerson
was the founder of Teen Challenge Ministries and the founding pastor of Times Square Church
in New York City. He was killed in a head-on collision in Texas and laid to rest there
last week.
You can see the memorial service in its entirety live tomorrow at CBNNews.com.
Doctors in Asheville, North Carolina say Billy Graham is responding well to treatment for
pneumonia. The 92-year-old evangelist was admitted to the hospital Wednesday. They say
antibiotics have helped clear his congestion and his temperature is back to normal. Seventy-eight-year-old
Jean Ford is Graham's only surviving sibling. She last saw her brother two weeks ago when
he came for a visit, and she says it was an encouraging time.
I think he was the best that I've seen him in perhaps five years. He was laughing and
joking and initiating conversation.
Graham's pastor visited him Thursday in the hospital in Asheville for their weekly time
of prayer and Bible study. Gordon.
Well, we certainly wish Billy all the best and a speedy recovery and a speedy time home.
But when you look at the generation of both great Americans and great Christians that
are leaving the scene, with Pastor Wilkerson departing in a tragic car crash, you do wonder,
how are we going to move on without them, these great giants of the faith? We'll be
right back with more, after this.

Today, an ounce of gold buys you two fine suits. In ancient Rome that same ounce of
gold bought you two fine togas. For over 5000 years gold has maintained its store of value.
Once upon a time the U.S. dollar was as good as gold, because it was backed by gold. But
the value of all paper money sooner or later falls to zero. Printing paper money is like
an unlimited credit card for politicians until history cancels their credit line. The good
news is that they can't print gold. So when you put part of your nest egg in gold, it
becomes safe from politicians crashing the dollar. Find out more about the best-performing

Ross runs a lucrative business, and he's been doing it for decades. As his business has
increased, so has his giving. And he is convinced that that's the secret to his success.
Ross McEachron has been in the insurance business for over 40 years. Today, the entire family
are key players in the business, the most successful independent brokerage firm in the
region.
God's blessing is upon our agency and upon our staff. So we look forward to each day
as a new day.
The family believes the success of the firm is directly related to their obedience in
giving to God.
Ever since I've been a Christian I was taught to tithe and give, and I've always enjoyed
it. It's been an exciting time of my life.
The McEachron's have never been satisfied with doing the minimum. Part of the extra
they give includes partnering with CBN.
They're so actively involved in world ministry and evangelism and having television programs
around the world and reaching nations.
They're especially excited about what CBN is doing through Orphan's Promise.
To see the stories of how little they have and their suffering and stuff just breaks
your heart. The more you can do, the more children you can help, and that's just really
been exciting for us.
The family is so excited about Orphan's Promise that they donate money to the ministry for
each new insurance policy they write, and they also encourage employee donations. In
2010, the company gave over twenty thousand dollars to Orphan's Promise and the McEachron's
challenge others to join them in giving.
I know I'm re-examining my entire life of giving, my entire finances, and the things
that I have done in the past and I want to increase. Now is the time to dig deeper. God
wants to give us increase and God wants to bless our efforts and God wants us to take
ever bigger steps of faith.
Well, Ross and Barbara have learned the secret. Here it is from 2nd Corinthians 9, "Remember
this, a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants
generously will get a generous crop. You must each make up your own mind as to how much
you should give, for God loves the person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously
provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over
to share with others" (2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NLT). That's the principle. It was laid down
by the apostle Paul to the church he founded in Corinth, that if we give generously, if
we make up our minds that we're going to be generous givers, then God comes in, because
He loves the cheerful giver. He loves them. And He comes in and He provides all we need
and plenty left over to share with others. Let today be the day where you resolve, "I'll
be generous. I'll be generous. I'll test God in this and see if He will not open the windows
of Heaven for me and pour out a blessing. Do it today. Terry.
Well, in many parts of the world, health care is non-existent. When 13-year-old Tam was
infected with parasites, he became seriously ill. His village had no doctors, and Tam would
have died without help from Operation Blessing. Take a look.
As a widow, Ta has come to depend on her 13-year-old son Tam.
He has been a big help at home, especially since my husband died.
When they're not harvesting bamboo to sell, Tam and his mom gather frogs to eat for dinner.
But then one day recently, Tam got very sick and nearly died.
He had severe stomach pain and his fever would not go down.
At the time, CBN was visiting Tam's village to provide free medical care for the community.
Immediately, we tested the boy and found he'd contracted a liver fluke, a parasite that
was slowly killing him. A CBN staff member gave Tam a strong anti-parasite medicine,
and in a few days, he was feeling better. Because liver flukes are common in villages
like Tam's in Laos, CBN is also teaching the community how to keep from getting them in
the future. And we also dug a well, so the entire village will have fresh drinking water.
Thank you so much CBN for saving my son's life.
If your spouse dies in another part of the world where people are living in poverty,
you are alone.
You're without means for any kind of income to support your family. So to have this little
boy who is the help that comes alongside of her, had something happened to him, that is
going to actually put her in a compromising position and the entire family just left this
woman with no hope. And that's the kind of situation that we come into so often, places
where there is no hope. And then you allow us to come into the middle of that, if you're
a 700 Club member, and make a difference. And that's what happened not just for this
family, but you saw the water well that was dug really for the whole community. We want
to say thank you for caring about people in that way. When you join the 700 Club, you
are touching the world with the love of Jesus Christ, and we're also so active right here
at home in the United States of America. So please call today. Be a part of what we're
doing. The number to call is on your screen: 1-800-759-0700. Just say, "I want to join
the 700 Club." And by the way, if you do that using something we call Pledge Express, that
means your bank does all the work. You have none of the hassle, don't have to remember
anything. But it saves us a lot of administrative costs. And we can put even more of your gift
right into the work of touching people's lives.
So when you call, say, "I want to join the 700 Club, and I'd like to do it using Pledge
Express." Our way of saying thank you is to send you "Power for Life" teachings each month.
These are teachings that we receive here at CBN as a corporation, as a family ministry.
And so we'd love to share these with you. So call right now. You can also, by the way,
join with us by logging on to CBN.com. Gordon.
Well, up next, from the age of seven, he trained to be a terrorist. His mission was to convert
America from the inside.
I considered myself as a sword of Islam. I thought, "I'm anointed, I'm unique, I'm selected.
I'm coming to a country and a culture to change it, and I have the power of Allah with me."
Watch what happens when this Muslim gets converted.
While Mary feeds her two young daughters, she also helps feed needy families around
the world. While Bob hands a drink out to a co-worker, he helps give water to villages
with new wells. And while Carl builds a house for his son's new puppy, he helps rebuild
homes in disaster areas.
These people all have something in common. They're CBN partners who have joined Pledge
Express. I hope you'll consider joining Pledge Express, too.
It's a way to simplify your own life while speeding help to others, all at the same time.
There are no checks to remember or stamps to buy, and your gift goes to work faster,
helping those who need it most. So join us and change the world for someone today.
Kamal Saleem was born in Lebanon, raised to become a Muslim terrorist. His mission was
to undermine America from the inside.
Forty-eight percent of the Muslims in the United States of America believe that they
are Muslim first, they're American second. Our purpose is to change this culture, because
they're infidel and what they're doing is not pleasing to Allah. And we are the soldier
of Allah who will make them do it.
Kamal Saleem was born in Lebanon to a devout Muslim family. As early as four years old,
he remembers sitting at the kitchen table while his mother taught him about the Qur'an
and his duty to Allah and Jihad.
From my childhood, my mom said, "One day you'll be a martyr, my son. You will die for the
sake of Allah and you will exalt Islam." She said, "If you kill a Jew, my son, well, your
hand will light up before the throne of Allah, and the host of Heaven will celebrate what
you have done."
Kamal was seven when his parents sent him to Muslim training camps to learn to use weapons
and engage and kill the enemy. The boys were also taught another more subtle form of warfare.
We were training for what's called "culture jihad," which is shifting cultures. Culture
jihad is unlike the sword, unlike the rifle; it is the jihad that will come into your world.
By his 20s, Kamal was chosen to wage cultural jihad on America.
In Islam, liberty, freedom, monarchy, all these are idols and these must be brought
down. So the liberty that you have in the United States of America, it's anti-Islam.
So America must be changed. So I moved to the Bible Belt specifically. The Bible Belt
was the strongest of the strongest. That's where the stout Christians are, and I want
to take on the best of the best, because I considered myself as a sword of Islam. I thought,
"I'm anointed. I'm unique. I'm selected. I'm coming to a country and a culture to change
it, and I have the power of Allah with me."
In the early 1980s, Kamal entrenched himself in a small Midwestern town. He began targeting
men from poorer neighborhoods to recruit them to the Muslim faith. But one afternoon his
life would be in the hands of those he hated the most.
I was going from one place to another to do a recruitment, and that day I had a car wreck.
The car wreck was so severe, I ejected out of my car, landed on my neck, broke my neck
in two places. This man came running to me and he said, "Don't worry. We're going to
take care of you, and everything's going to be all right." The ambulance came and picked
me up, and now I go to the hospital. The orthopedic surgeon in the emergency room looked at my
chart and he just said, "Son, we are going to take care of you, and everything's going
to be all right." The second day I wake up in the hospital, and this head of physical
therapy came and read my chart. And he turned around and he said the same thing word for
word, "We are going to take care of you."
At first, Kamal was frightened by their words, because these men were all Christians.
You see, in terrorism, if they said, "We're going to take care of you," you'd better run.
Surgeries to repair Kamal's broken neck were successful, but recovery would take weeks.
After being discharged from the hospital, he would need someone to care for him while
he recuperated. Kamal had no one, so the orthopedic surgeon opened up his own home to this stranger.
In his home, they put me in the choicest room and the most beautiful thing. I became like
part of their family. They didn't see me any different. And now they have a basket that
says, "For Kamal." They put in money to free my bills from the hospital.
Kamal was overwhelmed with the outpouring of Christian love. As he recovered, he began
to help out around the house with cooking and cleaning.
They have a Jewish friend that came from Israel that they support, and now I'm hugging Israelis
and I'm cooking for Jews. I'm going, "What has happened to me?"
When Kamal was able take care of himself and return to his apartment, the doctor had another
surprise for him.
He said, "These are the keys to the house, and here is an extra key. This is your new
car. We just want to bless you. You can come any time you want." So I go to my home, and
I go to my cold place that I haven't been there in months. And dust is this thick. And
I've just got to settle this issue with my God to know if it's real or not. So I walk
inside. I shut door. I go right in the eastern window, and I fall on my knees. And I put
my hands to the heavens, and I cry up to my God, "Allah, Allah, my lord and my king, why
have you done such a thing to me? I'm okay with the car wreck. I'm okay with all this.
But why did you put me among Christians? I'm confused. These Christians and Jews, they're
good people. There's nothing wrong with them. They don't want to kill us. They're not the
same thing that I learned about them. Allah, these people have a relationship with their
God. These people, they cry out to their God and He answers them. I want to hear your voice.
I want to hear you love me. If you're real, speak to me. I want to hear your voice." Guess
what Allah said that day: absolutely nothing.
Kamal felt that, because he questioned his faith, the honorable thing to do was to end
his own life.
So I went to recharge my gun and put it in the right place and clock out. I heard a voice.
The voice knew me by name. He said, "Kamal, Kamal, Kamal. Why don't you call on the God
of Father Abraham and Isaac and Jacob?" And now I fell on my knees, and I put hands to
the heavens immediately as I heard the voice. And I cried out with every fiber within me,
"God of Father Abraham, if you are real, would you speak to me? God of Father Abraham, if
you are real, I want to know you." Well, God of Father Abraham came to the room, and He
filled the room with His glory. And His name was Yahweh, "the Lord is One." In His hand,
He has holes in His hands. He has holes in His feet. His name is Jesus. I said to Him,
"Who are you, my Lord? Who are you?" He said, "I Am that I Am." I said, "I'm a simple man
with a simple mind. What is that supposed to mean?" He said, "I am the Alpha. I am the
Omega. I am the beginning. I am the end. I am everything that is in between. I have known
you before I formed the foundation of the earth. I have loved you before I formed you
in your mother's womb. Rise up. Rise up, Kamal. Come. You are my warrior. You are not their
warrior." And I said to Him, I said, "My Lord, my Lord, I will live and die for you." He
said, "Do not die for me. I died for you that you may live."
That day, instead of taking his life, Kamal gave it to Jesus. He now has a new mission
and travels the country challenging Muslims to question their allegiance to Allah.
My heart desire is to reach out for my brothers and sisters, the Muslims out there, 1.5 billion
Muslims that are living out there, and they have not tasted the freedom, and that's freedom
in God.
It's been over 20 years since Kamal left the Islamic faith, and even threats of violence
and death cannot stop him from sharing his story.
He is real. And if you've never experienced God before in your life, if you never tasted
God, and if you think you've got nothing to lose, when you're sitting in your home, whether
you're a Muslim or a non-Muslim or a non-Christian or whatever you are, call on God of Father
Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and say, "If you are real, speak to me. I want to hear Your
voice."
He is real. In Him we live and move and have our being. You don't have to call Him down
from Heaven. He is right there with you. And He's waiting for you. And the Bible is very
clear, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hear My voice and open the door,
I'll come in." When you have the sense and the knowledge that God is all around you,
that He's been guiding and shaping events for you, that He's known you, even before
you born, He knew you, and He has a great plan and purpose and destiny for you, when
you get that, well, there's nothing else like it. Now, how do you get it? Well, you do the
same thing Kamal did. You ask. You ask. God never forces Himself on anyone. He just sends
messengers. And then when we ask, we hear what other people have experienced, and then
we ask and say, "I want that for me. I've heard what you've done for others, and I want
that, too. I want to know you." And then He has this great promise, "When you seek Me
with all of your heart, then you'll find Me." Now, some of you have been seeking experiences,
mystical experiences, and been going through a lot of motions to find them. There are a
lot of false trails out there. But Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No
one comes to the Father but by Me." And when you get that great truth that Jesus is the
one, then you can do just what Kamal did. "Father of Abraham, show me. Show me Jesus.
Show me the way. Show me the truth. Lead me into everlasting life." And you get the same
truth. He's not interested in your sacrifice. He's not wanting you to die for Him. He died
so that you could have life. Now, if this is for you, if this is what you want, do the
same thing Kamal did. If you want to get on your knees, get on your knees. If you want
to raise your hands up, raise your hands up. But the important thing is, from your heart,
have that prayer, "Jesus, if you're real, show me. I need to know." And when you do
that, then you get the answer. So if this is for you, if this is what you want, bow
your head, close your eyes, say a very simple prayer. He'll answer. He'll come to you. What
He has done for others, He'll do for you. He doesn't want you to have a secondhand experience.
He wants you to know Him directly. And when you get that, it changes everything. Pray
with me. "Jesus." That's right. Say His name out loud. "Jesus, I want to know you. I want
to hear your voice. I want to have the assurance that you're watching over me. You're guiding
me. You're with me. So Jesus, right now, I ask that you forgive everything I've done
wrong, that you set me on the path of life that you've chosen for me, that you cleanse
me, and that you open my ears and open my eyes, and open my heart that I might understand.
Hear my prayer. Come to me now, for I ask it in Jesus' name. Father, for those who just
prayed, I pray a baptism in your love. I pray that your love would just pour down over them
and through them and let them know how much you've longed for a relationship with them.
Do it now, for I ask it in Jesus' name. Amen." If you prayed with me, the Bible says all
who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
What I want you to do is let somebody know you did that. It's a toll free number: 1-800-759-0700.
When you call, we've got a free packet for you. In the packet, it's called "A New Day,"
in the packet we've got a CD teaching on how to live the Christian life. What are the next
steps? What do you do now?
You've prayed. You've asked Jesus to come in. Now what? We encourage you to get a copy
of the Bible. Start with the Gospel of John. We also encourage you to go to church. Go
through water baptism. It's in the fellowship of believers that we grow. But do that phone
call right now. Make it right now: 1-800-759-0700. Well, coming up, more of The 700 Club. Stay

By his own father.
My dad said, "We're going to get rid of him."
If I could build this big, strong body, this armor around myself, then nobody could hurt
me again. I felt like if my mother didn't love me, my biological father didn't love
me, then how in the world could anybody else love me? God loves us, and He wants the best
for us. I'm living proof of that. Just give Him a chance.

What Danny Wallace endured growing up is inconceivable to most of us, and it began when he was just
five years old. Worst of all, Danny's abuser was his very own father.
Danny Wallace grew up wanting his father's love and attention. At the age of five he
got the attention when his father *** him in his wood shop.
He had finished with me sexually and then got down face to face with me where I could
for once in my life smell that alcoholic breath as he eyeball to eyeball told me, "If you
ever speak of this, I'll take your life. I'll bury you somewhere on this property, and they
won't find you for years.
Physical and *** abuse continued the next few years, driving Danny deep into personal
and *** confusion.
It destroyed my vision of who I was instantly. I didn't know who I was. I would be whatever
it took to not have to deal with what my father's actions had said to me that I was, and that
was nothing, that I was nothing.
For years, Danny tried to earn his father's love, but when he was ten, his father lured
him into an old barn where a group of men paid his father for sex with Danny.
From five until ten I went to bed every night thinking if I can get it right, my dad will
love me. But one of those men in that circle that afternoon said to my Dad, "What are we
going to do with him if we kill him?" And my dad said, "We're going to get rid of him."
I remember as clear as if it were yesterday, I stood in the middle of that barn, and I
said to myself, "That old man is never going to love me. There's nothing I can do. There's
nothing I can say. He will never love me."
When he was 11, Danny went to a church service with his aunt and uncle. He heard a message
about a father in Heaven that loves him.
And I remember that man kneeling beside me and putting his arms around me and said, "Would
you like to know this Father?" And I remember thinking, "If there is such a father, if there
is a father who loves me, who can see what I am, and yet he will accept me and love me,
then oh, yeah. I want to know him." In that little country church altar, I distinctly
remember the voice of God whispering to my heart, "Danny, you have finally found a father
who will never leave you or forsake you. Wherever you go, highest mountain, lowest valley, I
will be there."
Danny gave his life to God, and for the first time in a long time felt love and hope. Still,
*** abuse continued until he was 17. When he married his girlfriend, Lynn, he took his
secrets with him, including homosexual tendencies.
I knew I loved her with all of my heart. But I also knew I can't ever let her see me without
my Danny Wallace mask on. She cannot know who I am. She can't know what I've been through.
"If you see how broken I am. If you see that my father hates me, you won't love me, either."
And so I had that secret. That secret just carried on all the through my teen years and
even into my young adulthood.
For years, Danny lived a double life. He was devoted husband and father and active in his
church. But secretly he had several homosexual relationships. His pastor knew something was
not right and lovingly confronted Danny.
He discerned my issue, came to my home and pretty much sat me down and with all the love
that a father would say to you, he said, "This is what I see and this is what I think is
happening. We want to pay for counseling. We want to get you all the help that you need.
We don't care how long it takes. We do not want to lose you." And I remember that pastor
looking me in the eye, and he said, "I will not let you go." I just will not let you go,
whatever it takes, whatever you choose, you just know that I love you and we're here for
you." And I made the decision that day that if there's freedom to be found from this stronghold,
I want it. I want to be free.
I just knew that I loved him, and I knew that I wanted him free of whatever was tearing
him apart. Because he loved us, and I knew he loved me.
With the support of his family, he worked with a Christian counselor, at uncovering
the root of his issues.
Where a stronghold has come in your life, there is a specific door that's open. I often
tell people if you can identify that door, the door that led you into your stronghold
will be the door that when you identify it can leads you back out. And He took me to
that place of freedom that is found in absolute transparency where I began to peel away those
masks. Freedom comes from stepping to a place where the enemy can no longer follow you.
The enemy is darkness, and he abides in darkness. What he really hopes will not happen is that
you will find the courage to step from the shadows into the light of the truth of Jesus
Christ, because "if you step there, you will now walk to a place where I can no longer
follow you."
One of the final steps he took towards freedom was to forgive his dad before he passed away.
I said I will not drag this ball and chain any farther. I will not go to bed and hating
you anymore. I will not get up with the memories of the past defining my day. I'm going to
lay this down here. What forgiveness has done to me was lift me out of the pain of those
old waters and place me on a dry bridge of love and forgiveness for my dad.
Today, Danny is eager to share his story about God's love and forgiveness. He wants others
to find the same freedom he's experienced with his heavenly Father.
How desperately would you like to be free? And if you would like to be free, freedom
can only come from stepping into absolute transparency with Jesus Christ. But my Lord,
my Father, the one who spoke to me at 11 years old and said, "I'll never leave you or forsake
you," He is careful to tell us in the depth of our despair, "I'll take you as you are.
I do not condemn you. I didn't come to condemn you. I came to set you free."
How desperately do you want to be set free? It's available to everybody. Shame is a terrible
thing. It keeps us in bondage, and then the enemy whispers the lies that he is so famous
for into our hearts. "If you come into the light, they're going to know who you really
are. If you come into the light, they're going to judge you. If you come into the light,
it's all over. You'll lose everything that you care about." That's the lie that keeps
you in the dark. But if you come into the light, that's where the Father is, the true
Father, the one who won't leave you, won't forsake you, who has always loved you, the
one who said He saw you before you were formed in your mother's womb, that He has a hope
and a future for you. The question is, will you have the courage to step out? The most
amazing thing for most of us is when we step into the light, we find out that there are
other people who have had the same courage to step out of darkness in their lives. We're
all wounded. It's just a matter of who is willing to come to the foot of the cross and
receive freely the price that Jesus has already paid for us. That's what He died for, so that
you and I could be set free, so that the lies of the enemy could not take root in our hearts,
could not ruin our lives, but that we could have life and have it abundantly. So how much
do you want to be healed? That's really the question. How much do you want freedom? I
love what Danny said when he said, "I'm not dragging this ball and chain one more inch.
I'm leaving it here." Forgiveness is often a part of that. And I want you to know today
that whoever it is that's wounded you, whether it's one person or many, forgiveness doesn't
mean that you're saying what they did to you was okay. It means that you're releasing that
hold on your life and saying, "I'll not hold this bitterness anymore." You see, it destroys
us. It destroys us. We can get bitter or we can get better. Today, choose better. This
is God's word for you in the place that you're at. Come into the light, His marvelous light.
It's there for you. He's there for you. Will you pray with me? Begin the process. It is
a process. It's not the kind of thing where you pray, and boom. Begin the process. He'll
lead you. He'll show you exactly what to do. Let's pray together. "Father, my Father, I
want to know you. I want to be set free. I want to know the abundant life that Jesus
talked about. And I know I'm all tangled up in this web of garbage and junk and stuff
that's happened to me, things that have been said, acts that have been committed against
me. Oh, God, I want to be free. Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross, so that I could
be. Thank you. Thank you that 2,000 years ago you saw me right where I'm at today and
loved me enough to hang there to die to pay the price for me. Today, I receive that. I
receive you. And I give you all that I am. And I want to confess to you that though I
have been sinned against, I also have sinned. I have been bitter. I have been angry. I have
held hatred in my heart. Today, I'm giving all of that to you, God. I'm dropping the
ball and chain right where you've asked me to, right at the foot of your cross. So come
into my life. Forgive me for my sins. Help me to let go. Help me to walk in freedom.
I'm clinging to you now, and I'm coming into the light of your marvelous love, and I ask
you, Jesus, to be not just the Savior of my soul, but to be the Lord of my life. Teach
me how to live for you. Teach me your ways. Help me to understand who you are. When I
read your word, open it up to me and let it speak to the very deepest part of my heart.
And when the enemy tries to whisper lies to me, help me to clearly hear that voice for
what it is, see him for who he is, and fall again at your feet and say you are the only
voice I listen to, the only one I serve, the only Father I have who will always be there.
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for waiting for me. Thank you for saving me. Thank you
for the power to live in freedom. Thank you for the hope that you've placed in my heart
today. Help me to walk your paths. Fill me now with your Holy Spirit, I pray. Empower
me, empower me to live for you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen." If you've prayed that
prayer, we want to help you grow in your walk.
I want to encourage you to get into a Bible believing, Bible teaching church in your area.
Get with Christians who know and love God. You'll know it by the way that they live.
And in your own walk, get into the word of God. If you've never read the Bible, it's
God's love letter to you. Get a modern English translation. Start with the New Testament.
Read what Jesus has to say to you, about you, for you. And we want to send you something

It's got a CD in it and some scriptures. And we'll share with you what do you do now that
you've prayed this prayer. How do you grow in your relationship with the Lord? So if

When an 18-wheeler ran a stoplight, it sheered off the top of Deerinda Lowe's SUV. At the
time of the accident, Deerinda wasn't a Christian, but she is now thanks to an amazing vision
and a recovery so miraculous her doctors can hardly believe it.
Deerinda Lowe never saw it coming. A semi-truck ran the red light and plowed over the top
of her car. The 18-wheeler barely missed her head but practically severed her arm. Her
legs were caught underneath the engine. The car literally collapsed around her, trapping
her inside.
We could tell right away that both of her arms were broken. And we knew at least one
of her legs was broken and possibly the other one. Plus we were pretty sure she probably
had some internal injuries to go with that. It was a pretty low percentage on whether
she was going to make it or not. It was life threatening injuries.
Rescue workers tried for 45 minutes to get Deerinda out of the car. Finally, she was
life-flighted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
It was very grave. She had lost a lot of blood when she first came in. The fractures that
she had were all very serious. And then when you throw on top of it that she had all these
injuries and all these other lacerations and tears in the skin. She had a ruptured spleen
and a ruptured liver. She was in a very, very serious condition.
For two weeks, doctors tried to put Deerinda back together. She had to be resuscitated
twice and suffered a massive stroke. She had seven different surgeries, but remained in
a coma. Doctors offered little hope for her survival. Deerinda's mother didn't move from
her daughter's bedside. And even though she wasn't a Christian, she begged God to save
her life.
When I first woke up, the only thing I remembered was seeing God. I was on the stairway of Heaven,
and we were standing at the bottom, and God was holding me in His arms. And I was held
like a baby. And I can remember just hearing the voice behind me talking to me saying,
"It's okay. You're fine. You're safe now." I knew that God was there. I just knew it.
I did not see His face, but I knew He was holding me in His arms. I knew He had saved
me. I needed it. I was never saved. I wasn't a Christian. I never knew how to actually
ask God to forgive me for all of my sins.
Deerinda had a long and hard physical recovery ahead of her. She remained bed ridden at home
for three more months. She had to learn how to do everything again.
I was just so scared. I just thought I would never walk. And I had a physical therapist
at home that worked with me and stuff. And so I learned to walk on a walker. And then
on the 24th they took the walker from me, and I was walking on my own. They were watching
me and I just couldn't believe it. I was crying. I was like, "Oh, my gosh, I am walking."
Deerinda has surpassed all expectations for her recovery.
They said that I would probably never use the right arm ever again. They didn't know
for sure if I would ever walk right again. But, I do walk and I do use my right arm.
A lot of times we see patients with bad bone and joint injuries. But to see somebody with
this number of bone and joint injuries and the abdominal injuries that she had, the belly
injuries and the stroke, to have come back like this, it's really phenomenal. It is an
exceptional recovery. Absolutely.
Even more than a second chance at life, Deerinda is thankful God saved her for eternity.
There is a God out there. And He will listen to you if you want to talk to Him and have
Him come into your heart. I'm lucky that I'm here and I got a second chance, that I did
not die, and then I got to accept Him into my heart. And He forgave me for all my sins.
God is the God of second chances, third chances, fourth chances. You can't run out of chances
with Him. As long as you're breathing, you've got a chance. Here are some other remarkable
recoveries, "exceptional recoveries," as the doctor said. Here is Andrea from Biloxi, Mississippi.
She was diagnosed with endometriosis and told that her chances of having a baby were zero,
near zero. An operation wouldn't improve the odds much at all, but she decided to have
the procedure anyway. Well, she was in her hospital room before the surgery. The 700
Club was on the TV. That's a good place to have it on. She heard Terry say, "A woman
has had a diagnosis that you are barren. The Lord is giving you the desire of your heart."
Well, after her next checkup, she asked the doctor, "What are my chances?" And he said,
"Well, I can't raise the dead." Still, she continued to claim the word she heard on The
700 Club. Well, two months later, she found out she was pregnant. And today she has a
healthy baby girl.
Praise the Lord!
Now, that's an exceptional recovery.
I guess so.
Do you have one there?
I do. This is 2003. Maryann lived in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, was diagnosed with arthritis
and osteoporosis. Her condition grew worse. Her doctor recommended a knee replacement.
He said otherwise she would eventually wind up in a wheelchair. By this time, her knees
caused her such pain she had to crawl just to get up the stairs in her home. Last March,
she was watching this program. She heard you, Gordon, give this word of knowledge about
a left knee, "There is no cartilage. It's bone on bone. It's wrenching pain every time
you move. God is healing you right now." Within a short while, the pain was gone. She can
now walk up and down the stairs. She has no discomfort at all.
That's an exceptional recovery. What about you today? Can you get an exceptional recovery?
If you're in pain, just in an act of faith, lay your hand on that area of the body that
needs healing, and we'll pray and believe God for you. Pray with us. "Lord, we just
lift the needs of the audience to you right now. And as people are laying hands on that
area of the body that needs healing, we just agree with them in faith. And together we
say out loud to it, "Be healed and be made whole." There is a man, you're laying your
hands on both your knees. And you heard the report about a knee, and said, "Please say
knees for me." And God has heard your cry, and He's healing your knees right now. Begin
to move them and see what He's done for you. Terry.
There's a woman, you're standing in your kitchen, and you're praying with us. You have your
back up against the counter, and your hands are behind you. You stopped your work when
we started to pray. God knows you. He sees you. And the thing you're praying for is in
motion already. He's answered your prayer.
The man I referred to earlier. You're in a wheelchair, and you're saying, "Please say
wheelchair, so I know it's really me." And so, yes, I'm saying "wheelchair." It's really
you. You're really going to be able to move them. Begin to move them now and realize that
word is for you, in Jesus' name.
Chronic headaches. People with chronic headaches being released right now, in Jesus' name.
And then pain down the neck as well, into the spine. God is healing that, in Jesus'
name.
Thank you, Lord.
Amen. If you've been touched by God . . . .
. . . . we want to share in your good report, so call us: 1-800-759-0700. We leave you with
these words from II Kings . . . .
. . . . "Thus says the Lord, 選 have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Surely
I will heal you.'" God bless you.
Hello, I'm Terry Meeuwsen. Did you know there are more than 148 million orphans in the world
today? 148 million. But it was three little girls that taught me about the plight of orphans.
Eight years ago my husband and I spent nearly a month immersed in the daily activities of
an Ukrainian orphanage as we waited to adopt three sisters. I saw firsthand the utter loneliness,
the pain of rejection and the overwhelming desire to be loved. That experience changed
me forever, and out of it grew a ministry from my heart called Orphan's Promise.
Today we're helping orphans and vulnerable children in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Thousands of children are now in safe homes. They're being educated and they're learning
life skills. I'm asking you to join with me and become family to these children. Will
you call the number on your screen right now, because every child deserves a chance to be
happy.
