Hi, I'm here with Erik with Northwest Embroidery and we are going to show you the specs and
the features of the 6400 Flight soft shell out of the Tri Mountain line.
What Erik's wearing is the black in the men's style. Soft shells, for those of
you that are looking for a great jacket in the other summer, sorry the fall, the
winter, the spring months, it's a bonded fabric. So we take three layers
material that you see as one solid fused layer, but the outer wall
has a windproof water-resistant kind of finish to it. The inner layer gives you a
little bit of fleece lining so it gives you that warmth throughout the fall and the winter.
And then the middle layer that you don't see is what keeps the wind off you, its
a windproof barrier. It also allows you to
kind of have some of the heat heat escape from the body. But in this
jacket here, we have 12% spandex, so its quite a bit more than the
industry standard. Most people are putting 4% or 6% spandex in
their jackets
which leaves you with a stiffer, tougher jacket so those stretches around
the elbow, stretches around the shoulder... Just the drape of the fabric itself is
improved with a little bit more spandex.
It also gives the jacket a little bit of a softer touch. So this is one of eight
colors we do in the men's style.
Two colors we do have up to a four extra-large tall are the black and the navy. The others
just go up to four extra-large. One other feature I like to show is how we put
the same fabric from the base coat up in behind the neck, so that's an area that
comes in contact with the skin it's also when you're zipping it through it gives you much
cleaner look, a much richer look.
Definitely more retail, like what you're seeing from your retail stores out there.
The cut itself is a little bit longer so it goes past the waist.
A slight little bit of drop to the back so it gives you that ample coverage even if
you're wearing knit shirts untucked, T shirts and that kind of thing untucked and
just a overall great value. So again, we do it in men's, we also do it in ladies' and
it's a super good jacket for the Northwest.
