I'm I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village. And today, you're going to learn how to start
a fire with friction. Now, we have a bit of a notch here. I'm going to tie just a square
knot around here on this end. Okay, I'm going to tie it one more time. I've got a square
knot around this end. Now, we're going to, at this end. So what you can do is take your
foot and put the end of the bow down. You're going to want to put your foot here and your
knee here and you can bend it pretty easily like this. And we're just going to tie this
other end. See, this is what we want it to look like, something like that. So at first,
I'm going to just temporarily tie it around here and see if this is an appropriate tension.
We may need to change up our tension on this. We'll soon find out. This is a half hitch
right here that we've just put onto there.
