Hello folks! How are you doing?
My name is Eduardo Lara and today we are gonna talk about japanese cuisine.
That's right!
Do you know what is furikake?
Furikake is a japanese dry condiment used to encourage children in Japan to eat more rice.
Why that?
Unlike our Brazilian rice, that we added salt,
in Japanese rice is not added any condiment.
They add extra flavor, like egg, seaweed, shrimp, fish on top of this rice...
and serves it hot for children.
You must be curious as to the taste.
I have some flavors here with me
The furikake I have here in my hand is the Hello Kitty brand.
There are other types and brands of furikake in Japan.
Like Doraemon, japanese heroes, and even Spider-Man and Thomas the train.
I chose the egg flavor.
I'll add it here.
Let's try it.
It's worth. The furikake you'll find in Brazil in Japanese grocery stores.
Very easy to find. Just ask furikake.
No matter the brand.
Use a tea bowl with Japanese rice, as Momiji.
This is a typical Japanese rice.
It's worth. I recommend.
See you in the next video.
