This dart variation is called a center front seam dart. And, obviously dart variations
are pretty literal. This again, make sure you have your shell top drawn, so that it
does signify that you do have in fact, a garment. And, this one, well, all of them, I haven't
shown you that because I kind of honestly forgot. But, be sure you're drawing a neckline
too, just make a simple rounded neckline, that's the, this would be the, just the general,
basic shell principle. And, then the center front seam you draw in, it obviously since
it's called the center front seam runs down the central front of your garment. And, then
from that point, you go to right at the about the, little bit, at that, your solar flexes,
that's what it's called. At about the point of the solar flexes is where you start the
point of the darts, and you draw the darts in a V and they connect at the center seam,
but its two separate darts, that you're going to be sewing. So, neck, shell sleeves, center
front seam, but obviously it would be straight when you draw it, not like mine. And, then
there's your center front dart.
