These are the Men’s Strider Pro Shorts.
They resulted from working very closely with our team of ambassadors.
They needed a fully featured race short that felt like nothing but carried everything.
My first time using these shorts was on a backcountry trail run in the Golden Trout Wilderness.
I had a duckbill hat, a Houdini, gels, a steripen, and a map.
And it all packed into these shorts.
The shell of the shorts is made of a lightweight, quick drying polyester.
It’s 50% recycled content.
It also has a DWR water repellent finish.
These shorts have a mesh liner that’s treated with polygene anti-odor control.
The waistband has a minimal design.
It has the knit elastic waistband exposed towards the interior so that it reduces bulk.
The draw cord can be routed toward the outside or inside.
For ventilation there are airflow mesh panels through the interior gusset and on the side panels.
It also features low bulk flat seaming throughout the garment.
The pocket system of these shorts is amazing.
It’s constructed of a nylon mesh that keeps everything stable on the move.
There’s a zippered pocket on the back for things like your phone and keys that you want to keep secure.
The 4 overlapping pockets on the sides are easy to access, also very secure.
The Strider Pro is the perfect short for the minimalist with maximal needs.
It’s great for long races and demanding distances in the mountains.
