Mark: Hi, this is Mark from The DVCC TV, and today I've got a confession to make. So yesterday
evening I got in late I was tired, I was hungry, and my girlfriend said she'd bought me a present,
and that present turned out to be a Twirl bar, and I ate it. Not, I just, it kind me
make me think of a lesson and that is that I didn't feel guilty for eating it, I made
that choice, the difference is the next morning so my next meal effectively, I got straight
back into my normal habits, which is a high protein and high fat breakfast. For me personally,
that's steak and eggs, but for you it might be salmon and avocado, haddock and nuts, whatever
it, whatever it is, it's the fact that I got straight back into my normal habits, my normal
healthy eating.
And so I don't worry about the odd slip-up here and there, we all make them. I don't
ever pertain to be an angel or just to eat strictly regimented like a body builder, that's
not, that isn't longevity you're not going to be able to keep that up for life, whereas
the habits that I have, I will be able to keep them up for life.
It's really interesting when I was looking at The Biggest Loser, you know the TV program
and the participants there, and I think it's something really that that's sad, like eight
or ten or so many really high of the people that have lost the weight or have lost a lot
of weight, have put it all back on within three years and more, and that's because they're
restricting themselves to a long period of time, but they're not forming a habit, and
they're not creating habits that, you mean that they can keep that going for the rest
of their life.
So, if you slip up, don't worry about, just be sure to get straight back on that horse,
and back into your healthy habits, and the best thing to do is make the next meal you
have, a good one or what you'd normally have if when you were being healthy and good.
So, let me know what you think. Do you agree with this? Go over to the thedvcc.com, because
as always the conversation will continue over there. Leave a comment now, and I'd really
appreciate having a chat with you there.
So, this is Mark from The DVCC T-TV, bye bye.
