Pierce the Darkness Image a day without sunlight or moonlight.
Life would be different without city lights, warning lights, or even entertaining lights.
Of course, none of these compare with Jesus, the light of the world. Jesus, however, gave
us the responsibility to carry His light to a dark world. Your light that can pierce the
darkness with God’s message of hope.
Matthew 5:16 reads Let your light shine before men in such a
way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Pray with me. Lord, fan the flame within us and burn away
our carnality so we can reflect your light. Set our hearts on fire for those in need.
Help us ignite truth each day as we submit to your will so others can see your good works.
May our light pierce the darkness with God’s message of hope.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
