Behind The Wheel with Shell V - Power - Mazda cx - 5 review

♪ My name is Jill McIntosh with the Toronto Star Wheels section, and I am in the 2013 Mazda CX5. ♪ This is a very nice little SUV. Mazda really puts handling into their vehicles, and this handles probably as good as some of their sports cars. The steering is nice, it's precise, it's quick. The brakes are good. It's just a fun little vehicle to drive. Mazda uses what's called SKYACTIV Technology now, and it optimizes the engine, the transmission, and the chassis for fuel efficiency, so it's lighter, it works better, less friction. So you end up with a package that's nice to drive, but you're not using a lot of fuel while you're doing that. ♪ This is a really nice interior. I really like the seats, the seats are comfortable. And what I really like about it is it's simple. The dials are simple. You're not taking your eyes off the road, and tapping a screen or anything like that. Simplicity is good when you're doing 100 kilometers an hour. And this is a nice, simple vehicle. ♪
