Hi everyone, This is Pierre from presetsheaven.com
Today I'm going to show you how to install and use the FTP plugin so you will be able to transfer your images directly from Lightroom to your FTP server
In Lightroom, just move up to the file menu - select the Plugin-manager and press the "add"-button
Look for your downloaded FTP Upload Plugin. It should look like this when you have extract it
Select it and chose "Add Plug-in"
And.. that's basically all you have to do to install it and as you can see I have a green ball over here which says it's installed and running.
In case it's red you should press this enable button.
OK, so we're done.
Move on to the File menu once again and select "Export..."
... and on the right-hand side you see a couple of arrows, Just press that one and move down to the FTP Upload
And this is where we have some settings. So, you have the "Filename".. as usual. File settings for compression and etc.
Of course, the Size, Sharpening Tools, Metadata and here is the most interesting part, The FTP Server
You will select the destination and make a custom setting so chose "Edit"
Type in your FTP server, Username, Password and once you've done that, this little "Browse"-button will be active so you can browse
on your server to the folder where you would like to upload your images.
and when you're done with that - Just press the OK-button and "Export" and your images will transfer to your server
Happy Uploading!
