>> Cecilia Smith: My name is Cecilia Smith, and
I am the president of the Ballroom Dance Society.
♪ [music playing] ♪♪
Basically, we teach you different dance each week.
We line up with leads and follows--leads are usually male
and follows are usually female--and we teach each of the
separate parts and then, after we've taught everything,
we get together and we go over the dance.
>> Savannah Kapper: CeCe's really good at the girl
part, and I can switch between lead and follow.
I tend to take the guy part so that we can teach it as
president and vice president.
>> Lisa Perforres: I love dancing.
Ballroom dancing is something that I've always
wanted to learn to do.
I found out I could learn how to ballroom dance for
free and so I kept coming back.
>> Cecilia: Well, I personally
like to dance.
If I get a good beat, then I just start dancing.
I just think it's a fun way to meet people and kind of just
shake off the stress of the day.
>> Lisa Perforres: It's a lot of fun.
It's a great way to be active and exercising
without actually feeling like you're exercising.
>> Savannah Kapper: The thing I enjoy most is
actually the community that we have.
We know each other's majors, we know what we like to do--
we're friends and that's what's great about this society.
