How many MMA classes should you take before you can defend yourself?
Again that's a good question, it all depends if you watch the UFC on TV, how well can you
grasp the information by watching TV? Some people watch TV every day and can pick up
from watch TV.
If you come to class once a week and train MMA it's going to take you a little bit longer
to be able to defend yourself. If you come to class five days, six days a week then you'll
be able to defend a little bit faster.
it also depends, are you naturally talented? Have you any previous experience? Have you
done martial arts before? If you've done martial arts before than the mixed martial arts will
be nothing to catch on to.
And a lot of people as I was just saying, if you watch UFC on TV and you can grasp the
concept of what they're doing it should be no problem for you to defend yourself.
So that's really a tough question, I would say generally anywhere between 30-40 days
before you can really defend yourself, 30 to 60 days but a minimum of 30 days.
