Saint-Gabriel house was built in 1668.
Although we won’t go back that far,

In 1964, the Congregation decided to have the farmhouse restored and to turn it into a museum.
We want to offer a sense of history, a sense of our roots a sense of what Quebec and Canada were like.
Because it was here at point St. Charles that the first settlers arrived on our shores.
