Finishing a quad stitch can be somewhat confusing at first.
If you take a look at my lanyard,
all the way at the right I have a strand hanging off,
and then on the left there is a loop.
It's the same on every sided lanyard.
A strand hanging off over here,
and a loop over here.
If you take a look at this lanyard it's the opposite.
On the left there's a strand hanging off,
and on the right there is a loop.
If your lanyard looks like this one,
then either do one more stitch,
or undo your last stitch, so that instead it looks like this one.
Once your lanyard looks like this one,
do one more stitch. Only keep this one loose.
We keep this stitch loose because we are going to bring all the strands through
this hole in the center.
So start with this orange strand.
Okay, take this orange strand and bring it around the green strand and up through
that center loop, and pull through.
I will take this green strand,
bring it around the yellow strand.
Bring it up through the center.
I will just keep going around like so.
Taking the yellow strand, wrapping it around the orange strand,
and going up through the center.
Then make sure that all the strands are coming out through the same hole,
and then slowly tighten each one individually.
Now you have finished your quad stitch.
Just cut off the strands at your desired length,
and you are done.
