Danny Forster here back on the deck of the Disney Magic where Disney Imagineers are dreaming
up all kinds of new magic,
and we're getting a sneak peak.
Up to this point, I've toured all over the Disney Magic discovering the massive amount
of cool news things in the works for families and kids. Now that's all great, but I'm also
happy to report that there is
plenty in store for just us adults.
So we have new experiences for the toddlers, for the kids, the babies ...
tell me about new experiences for the adults.
There's going to be a whole new area built there for our adults because we found
that that's one of the areas that they really want to sit back and relax ... and let's face
it, when you're coming on a
cruise why not get pampered? And one of those places is called Senses Spa.
And who knows? You're time at the Spa might
just be a prelude to some fine dining at Palo restaurant. Both of these favorite adult spots
are in line for a fresh new look.
I am in the adult district. This is the very epicenter of all adult activity here
on the Disney Magic. But the
amazing news is, it is all being transformed and very soon this place will be radically
reinvented to become something called, "After Hours."
On the inside of our ship in our adult district, we're reinventing what we have there so we're
literally taking everything out and putting everything new back into those spaces to be
exciting and refreshed for our guests.
We wanted to take some of our guests who might not necessarily get to go to
New York, Miami, Las Vegas and
create a real club experience equal to what you would find in any of those great cities.
In fact, the Disney Magic is
also going to have a brand new Irish pub called "O'Gills"
the perfect place to have a pint of beer.
We're going to be transforming what was "Diversions" into O'Gills.
If you've ever been to an Irish pub you know it's all about the great music and the great drink.
"Fathoms" is all about being on an ocean cruise, and we wanted
to make this deep connection
to the ocean ... that the ocean can sometimes be very calm, but the ocean can sometimes
have a little excitement too, and I think that's kind of the underlying idea in that room.
"Keys" is our smaller lounge.
Think of a New York after-hours
club where you go and listen to the piano player. This is the more quiet space and I
love the fact that each one of our
spaces has a different dynamic feel to it.
With so many new improvements in store, there is always more to talk about.
So if you would, join me, Danny Forster, next time as we reveal even more inspiration on
the Disney Magic.
