Friday Night Lights is set to hit the big screen, Anthony Head sinks his teeth into
the new Buffy movie, and The Bachelorette finds love or at least chooses a winner. I'm
Sal LoPizzo and this is Reel TV News. Friday Night Lights is set to light up the
big screen (again)! The show's executive producer Peter Berg confirmed to TV Line.com that he
is in fact working on a script and modestly reported that it's really good. The movie
would feature Kyle Chandler as well as Connie Britton who will both reprise there Emmy nominated
roles from the TV drama. Shooting is set to start sometime next year. So how could a low
rated TV show be transformed into film? According to Berg the low ratings didn't reflect the
shows true viewership. Hopefully the box office numbers will.
Anthony Head the British actor who played Niles on the cult classic and one of my personal
favorites BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER has spoken out against the new Buffy film. The reason-
The people who own the rights to Buffy have left out the shows creator and mastermind,
Joss Whedon. The reason has not been stated but it is believed to be because they don't
agree creatively. Sara MIchelle Gellar and Anthony Head, along with many Buffy fans,
feel that without the support of Whedon, the new film will …well ….suck. Pun intended.
After weeks of careful consideration the Bachelorette finally picked a man to spend the rest of
her life with, or at least the next few weeks. She weeded it down to two men in the finale
, a Sonoma County wine maker and a New York construction worker, Big shocker, she went
with the rough tough manly man construction worker. Personally getting to live in Sonoma
and having access to endless amounts of wine would have been my choice, but that's just
me. I'm Sal LoPizzo and we'll see you next time on Reel TV News.
