Hi! My name is Adria. I am one of the professional jugglers here at Expert Village.com. Right
now we are learning scarf patterns. We are going to learn under the leg with the scarf
but I am going to refer you back to Stephen Bent's video under the leg, where he teaches
you to throw under the leg and if you recall the throw just before you throw under the
leg it is a little higher than the other to give you time to reach under there like that.
We are going to do something quite similar with the scarfs, but keeping in mind that
the scarfs are being lifted and dropped. Now the throw under the leg that you saw is not
as high as the others because we have to lift and drop meaning that the left arm has to
go faster after its drop from the previous throw over the regular throw. So with the
balls, the throw before you go under your leg is unusually high. With the scarfs, it
is the catch after the end of the leg throw, which is up abnormally fast. Here we go, regular
height under the leg with a low catch. Again under the leg with a low catch because you
can throw up abnormally high with the scarfs is only certain height they ago. So, it is
a low catch under the leg and keeping in mind that everything we do with the right hand
and the right leg we should also be able to do with the left leg. Again, normal height
throws, low height catch. Again normal height throws, low height with a low catch under
the leg with scarfs.
