Hey, it's Rhonda Ryder of www.BeYouVideos.com with a quick tip on how to feel more confident
in front of the camera. Listen, for many of us, being in front of the camera is a little
scary. Most of us don't have training in speaking to live audiences or on video. So everybody
needs a few tips to make them feel like they can conquer the world before getting in front
of the camera. One of the main things I teach is you've got to have a good script or outline
before filming. That will definitely make you feel more confident. But there's something
else you can do that will make you feel like you're invincible! It's a little trick you
can do right before filming to make you feel as confident as Wonder Woman when you're filming!
I know it's going to sound a little weird, but it is scientifically proven to work! Amy
Cuddy is a social psychologist whose TED talk was viewed 5 million times. Her research on
body language reveals that you can boost your confidence simply by changing the way you
stand. She talks about how BEFORE going on a job interview or speaking in front of a
group, if you can stand in a "power pose" for 2 minutes, you will boost the chemicals
in your brain that make you feel more confident. Here's an example of one of the Power Poses
Amy has identified: Or, if you prefer Super Man. So practice this pose two minutes before
filming and you will feel like Wonder Woman...or Superman in your videos! Thank you so much
for watching this video. I just wanted to let you know that I have created a free mini-video
series for you called "How to Create Videos That Grow Your Business, Make You Tons of
Sales and Get You New Clients Even if You HATE Being in Front of the Camera!" Just go
