I have poured all my coffee into the mugs for my friends here drinking coffee with me
today. So the most important thing, the last thing, is cleaning. So just to clean, very
simple. Open the top, pull out the plunger and if the residue of the grounds are at the
bottom, rinse those out thoroughly. I usually wash my French Press with soap and water each
time, because if you have a dirty French Press, the next day you'll have a little bit of a
stale taste of the residue from the beans in there. So rinse that out. Now I'm going
to partially unscrew the filter, and just kind of get some of the loose beans out of
there. Again, I used hot water and soap to clean this part too. You can dry with a towel
and store the press until the next time you use it.
