Hi. Dowell here at the Firehouse Detail Shop. We're still working on the interior of a car.
And we're detailing like a professional and teaching you how to do that. We've moved from
door panels and dashes and now I'm going to continue the inside. The instrument panel,
the console, the cluster there is a very delicate area of the car. This is the side that most
passengers, or most drivers get in and out on. So it's going to be dirtiest. Your thresholds
are going to be dirty, your seat, your panel. It's also the first thing they see on a regular
basis. So this is going to probably be the area we spend the most time what comes in
here on cleaning. What we're going to want to make sure the customer's key or your key
is out of the way. We don't want to lose it we don't want to suck it up in the vacuum.
Often we'll take them and just stick them in the door on the outside, so we also don't
lock ourself outside of the car. Oh, we have a lock kit so we can get back in cars, but
it does happen for example we're working and we hit the lock button and you close the door
to go around the car, and the next thing you know you're locked out of the car. So, inside
here, we're continuing to clean the dash and the console, we're using our brushes, we're
using compressed air, we're using interior cleaner. One thing that often goes missed
is the foot pedals, the break pedal and the gas pedal. You know, we're back and forth
in the car with our dirty shoes in an environment like we live in here in Utah, mud, salt, grime.
So everything looks great, but we forget to do the gas pedal, so we want to get those
cleaned, scrubbed, and again a brush, interior cleaner, real easy and then just finish up
with a towel, and we gotta get this compartment here looking great.
