...as you may notice all taxis play "La Lambada"... ...there's nothing to do about it; the led
light changes colors.
*Ica, 7:30am [beepbeepbeepbeep] It's 7:30am
Those damn cars have been honking for hours They all honk, and they are all taxis
Damn! How can a small city like this have so many taxis?
I don't get it
They aren't honking as much because I'm recording this
A few minutes ago it was all beep beep beep beep beep
...no, wait, there they go... Thank you taxis Look! An Hermes vehicule
Damn! It should be impossible for this city to have this amount of taxis
Oh, they are collective taxis. Ticos are collective taxis... Nice...
[**a collectivo is a specific kind of taxi. Sometimes strangers on the same route take
the just one taxi]
*Ica, 10am [after breakfast] We are going to the Barranca autostop, we
are hoping to get a ride for Tate Ica is still pretty much destroyed [**after
2007's earthquake]... ...aaand it's noisy. They won't stop [honking]
*On our way to Tate, 10:20am [we never found the autostop]
*Tate, 10:30am [we found signs against the district's Mayor]
They want to get rid of the Mayor
[Later we were on many adventures; we protested, we learnt about the "revocatoria", were pursued
by the police and had a nice lunch. We didn't record that]
