Hi, I'm Ryan with Technically Well, and I'm checking out the Jackery Bolt.
Now I've reviewed a lot of power banks, but what sets this one apart is that it has two
built-in charging cables. A Lightning cable for iPhones, and a Micro USB cable for Android
phones. This makes it very convenient because you can just grab it and go without worrying
about bringing your own cable.
However, to recharge the power bank, you do still need to use a Micro USB cable. It features
a 2 amp input, so it can charge in about 4 hours if you use a 2 amp charger. If you need
one, I'll include a link below.
The power bank has a 6,000mAh capacity, which is good for about 2, or maybe 2 and a half recharges
to most smartphones. And you can charge two devices at once, but the max output is 2.4
amps.
The one big downside with this power bank is that the charging connectors don't protrude
enough to reach inside many cases. So you'll need to either remove your case, or use your
own charging cable as there is an extra USB port on the unit. However, that kind of defeats
the purpose of having built-in cables.
But overall, I still like the sleek, brushed aluminum design and I also like that there
is a built-in flashlight for finding your way in the dark. And I'm hoping that Jackery
soon releases this in their signature orange color as well.
Thanks for watching
