So in this segment I'm going to go through the basic techniques of turning. I'm going
to go through two different ways you could do it. What I like to call the soft turn and
what I call the tight turn. Okay, now the soft turn is more of an intermediate. It's
done basically at a higher speed, and you lean more of your body into the turn as opposed
to the tight turn where it's more difficult and it's actually more of a trick move where
you jolt your body and then your lower body goes. So it's an upper body and a lower body
movement. So I'm going to go ahead and demonstrate the first one I was explaining--the soft turn.
You go forward, and I lean more of my body into it. Now if I'm going to do a tighter
turn, it's more of an upper body jolt, if you will. It's more of an upper body like
this, and then you're lower body goes along with it. So turn my upper body and my lower
body goes into it. Go ahead and demonstrate that. Go forward. So whether you're doing
a soft turn or a tight turn, the same basic techniques still apply.
