Hello this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village.
In this little segment we're going to talk about "Cochise" by Audioslave. It's a really
simple E minor pentatonic riff. Let's take a look. The riff starts with an open D string.
We're going to hammer on to the second fret of the same string. Then open B string, second
fret A string, back to your open B string, back to the second fret A string, third fret
E string and open E string. The first half of it sounds like this. The second half is
a variation of that. That again is.
Both put together they sound like this.
To speed that riff sounds like this. There's not really much to that one. As long as you
know an E minor pentatonic scale you're kind of set with that. In the next segment we're
going to talk about "No One Knows"by Queens of the Stoneage. I'll see you there.
