at celebration square mississauga celebration square is a vibrant public space and a state
of the art multi media event destination the newly renovated square is host to a line up
of year round free outdoor activities and festivals that include the arts mississauga's
cultural diversity and entertainment after a huge july 1st celelbration I can't wait
to see what they come up with on new year's eve you won't have to go to toronto's nathan
phillips square this will be right in your neighbourhood here I am at the living arts centre the lac
in mississauga the lac opened it's doors in 1997 adding a cultural dimention to the mississauga
city centre it serves as an important resource for the arts education and business the lac
proudly serves as a performance outlet for the many mississauga arts organizations including
the mississauga coral society the mississauga symphony orchestra the mississauga international
children's festival plus 30 community organizations and conference events to art exibits and community
classes in arts and crafts the lac is a destiniation for all people from all walks of life located
at the corner of duke of york and prince of wales drive the new campus of sheridan college
will open its doors in the fall of 2011 this campus is named the hazel mcallion campus
after our founder mayor hazel mcallion or as we proudly call her hurrican hazel this
four story building will accomodate 1760 students 1200 business students and 560 spaces will
be dedicated to the training and retraining of new canadians foreign trained professionals
and unemployed workers the campus will be the hub for business education for international
and internationally trained individuals for any further information regarding living in
