LaShonna Halloway: Hey everybody, I'm LaShonna
Victor Sho: And I'm Victor Sho.
LaShonna: And we're gonna teach you how to Cat Daddy. The Cat Daddy is a very cool dance
that's very popular nowadays. The arms in the dance remind me of someone who's like
moving the wheels in a wheelchair, they're very forward and aggressive when you're moving
your arms. Ideally, your arms are just gonna go forward. So just think of forward, scooping
forward. It's just a really aggressive punch with both of the arms going forward, as if
you're pushing wheels.
Now your body, to go along with that, every time your arms go forward, your body goes
back. So think of sitting in the chair every time your arms go forward. And push! Now,
when your arms go back, you pull forward. So pull, push, pull, push, pull, push, pull,
push, pull, push, pull, push, pull, push, pull, push.
Now this can be done with the feet together, for a really close-feet Cat Daddy. Or, you
can take your legs apart, and do your feet apart, and Cat Daddy. Now you don't stay center,
you have to change sides. We'll go to the right, one, two, three, four. And left, two,
three, four. To the right, two, three, four. To the left, two, three. Feet together to
the right, two, three, four. To the left, two, three, four. To the right, two, butt
taken low, to the left, two, three, four.
And that is how you Cat Daddy!
