Hi everybody! If you're new here, welcome, I'm Mika!
and I have a little confession, I don't know if this is going to sound weird..
I don't really like Valentine's day.
All the reds and the pinks ughhh
I t's sick! that's what it is, it's sick!
what I do like is blue
and I also really like doctor who!
So I thought why not make a Doctor who Valentine's day theme?!
So today in this video, we're making a heart shaped tardis pendant
AND wait for it..
A tardis chocolate box!! yayyyy!!
so.. this is going to be a big tutorial so let's get started with it!
allons-y! (in bad french)
Let's begin with the pendant:
go ahead and cut a heart out of paper
this will be your template
now get a walnut sized ball with tardis-blue polymer clay
and flatten it out using your palm.
cut out the heart and remove the extra.
use your fingers to smooth down the edges.
to have an idea what goes where, scratch a few soft lines with a toothpick
a curved one down the middle and two across
to make the TARDIS windows get some white clay flatten it out and cut a small square piece
try it on the heart and cut accordingly.
you may need to trim it further later
don't forget the door sign
next take some flatten out snake-ish pieces and use them for the wooden details of the door
put two in the middle, around the windows and two horizontally
to make the little window squares, roll out a very thin snake and use it to separate
six squares like so.
now for the police sign, I wanted to make it look more like a banner,
because it goes well with the heart shape
so I cut out a curvy strip and lined up on top of the windows!
lastly don't forget the TARDIS lantern that sits proudly on the
roof
before you bake it place two eye-pins so you can wear it as a pendant
and after baking use acrylic paint to finish the ''police box'' sign
seal with glaze and you're done!
this is the coolest gift to give to your best friend,
if they're crazy about doctor who too!
Now for the second part of this tutorial,
the TARDIS chocolate box!
To begin with, we're going to need four rectangular pieces of cardboard,
and blue construction paper
Line up the pieces on the corner of the blue paper with a little space around them and glue them on.
afterwards you're going to fold it to cover the cardboard pieces.
cut the extra and glue down what's left around them to completely cover them up
when it's all dry, fold it 3 times this will create a panel
and automatically the four sides of the box
now that we have the outer part let's make the little shelfs
cut out 4 square pieces that measure as big as the interior of your box
add about an inch extra on every side.
you're going to dress them up with the blue paper likely did previously.
if you don't want to do all this you can surely paint them, blue or yellow or
gold it's up to you!
use paper clips to allow some time for the glue dry
and when it's time to put the corners together take out your beloved hot glue gun
For the interior we're going to need four of those tray-boxes
the first one need to go on the bottom corner
this will also double shift as the base of the TARDIS
allow some space in between them
and glue the next on the second panel
making sure it doesn't block any of the creases
continue adding the rest of the tray-boxes diagonally
and the main part of the box is ready
I found this cupid angel tissue paper
and I think it goes perfectly with my theme
butr whatever you do you must not blink
we're not done making tray-boxes though,
we're going to need three more, one will serve the purpose of
the lid, so it needs to be slightly bigger than the box
and another two significantly smaller , like these you see here
for the tardis roof
I printed out the ''police box'' sign to glue it on all four sides as well as
from door one.
and links for these printables will be in the description down below
if you don't want to draw the rest of the details feel free to print some targets design there
feel free to print some targets design there
are plenty online,
but for this one I made a tamplate
to make sure all four sides will come out the same
and drew it with blue and black markers
for the windows I simply used white paper a
and your tardis is basically done!
I mean except for the little lantern on top
fill the trays inside with chocolate and candy
and when that's finished you can use it as a jewelry box!
to make it look a bit more festive I thought a few hearts would be appropriate
take some soft wire and wrap around a pencil
then sandwich the end of it between two paper hearts
if you don't want to fully commit to the hearts
just squeese them between the roof boxes
so you can remove them once Valentine's over.
and that's it! a tardis chocolate box that's bigger on the inside
and full of sweets!!
so I really hope you guys liked this video

I don't know.. what do you want me to do on this channel?
I 'll never know until you guys tell me!
you guys may have noticed I forgot to do the little light
that sits on top of the tardis
that's because "I didn't wanna make it out of cardboard
and I wasn't sure what to make it out of
maybe polymer clay?
Idk if you guys know leave me a comment down below
thank you so much for watching
I 'll see you very very soon bye!
