To me, "home" means that you come
to the place you make memories with the people you love most.
I grew up in Finland.
I'm the second oldest of six kids.
Being away from family is probably the hardest of all.
Photography's a way for me to express
the longing for my heritage and what I feel like I am.
I'm Finnish.
Through photography I've been able to get past
the moments when I really miss it there.
In Finland it's really hard for a mother to stay home.
My mom couldn't stay home.
Being home is really important, and it's not easy.
It would be easier to just take them and go shoot photography,
but I love being home. I think it's important that I do that.
My name is Beatta Bosworth.
I'm a mother, a wife; I'm a Finn living in Orange County.
I'm a photographer. I love color.
And I'm a Mormon.
