Using your password can really come in handy if you lose your device or,
even worse, if somebody steals it.
You don’t want them to use that device so,
to lock them out, use that password.
Every smartphone has one and they are really easy to set up.
Let me show you how you would do it here on an iPhone.
So first we’ll get the iPhone open.
You merely go to settings, tap on the settings button,
go the bottom of the screen. And hit general.
From there you’re going to get the opportunity
to scroll down here to pass code lock.
You do that, tap of the pass code lock at the top of the screen.
Turn pass code on.
Enter your four-digit number. I’m going to turn the device here,
because I don’t want you to see what I’m putting in for my particular password.
And there you have it.
It was as simple as about five swipes and a couple of button pushes
and I now have a password put into place on my iPhone.
