In this clip, we're going to be going ahead and take off our side panels and that's going
to help us get to the under tail more. So, recollecting, there's a couple more screws
that we're going to have to get to. We're going to have to be taking this section off
of the bike in order to get our under tail right here. We're going to go ahead and remove
this bolt and the one on top and it should just slide right out. Go ahead and take your
five millimeter Allen Wrench and stick it right here in the screw. Go ahead and twist
it off. Good. Alright, go ahead and set that down. Now right here, this goes right over
it but it's not clamped on so we're just going take that and push it underneath and loosen
it up. There's the clip right here and a clip back here. All you do is, all you got to do
is push straight up. There they go. Now that we got the panel off, just go ahead set that
down in a safe place and go ahead and do the other side the exact same way. Now, we're
going to go ahead and do the same thing on this side. Taking this bolt out, popping that
one off, pulling this part straight out and then there's a clip in here. You're going
to go back and down. Once you do one side, it's always easier to figure out the other
side. Try to remember how you did it because it'll help you put it back together properly.
I'm going to put the screw down. We'll go ahead and do the same thing on this side.
Pull this section straight out, it's going to pop out. Then take that off. Got to be
careful of the plastics. You don't want to go too hard because you can break them. You're
going to pull this one back and down and the plastics going to come out just like that.
They are pretty flexible, but don't torque them too hard because they will break and
they can crack and it is very expensive to replace them. If it doesn't come out easily.
Always look around for more bolts and more pieces that need to come off.
