Hi my name is Veronica Baragas with my wiggles and giggles dot com. And I'd like to share
with you the difference between nonprofit versus profit childcare centers. So a lot
of the times already you know you have to decide you know tuition, location, you know
what type of teachers and education is required so the difference between that I've found
is a lot of the times nonprofits are usually part of a church, or a community based type
of like you know boys and girls club or your local YMCA a lot of the times. Those are nonprofits
and as far as regulations go, a lot of the times they are not mandatory as far as having
certified care givers so they could be you know moms and dads that are volunteering in
the community or your church you would say. So profit childcare centers are a lot of the
times independently owned or they are part of a corporation that is mandatory to have
you know certified caregivers and what not. So not to say that nonprofits are not beneficial
because of not always having the certified, but a lot of times because it's in your church
or your community you are a lot more comfortable in leaving your child because you may know
the actual caregivers in that kind of community base. So definitely just do your research
and check to see what may fit your family in nonprofit versus profit centers.
