their own countries.

(in Brazilian Portuguese).
Not delaying anymore, let's go!!!
HEADBANGING NEWS
And we start with great news for the fans of
SEPULTURA
Andreas Kisser, guitar and leader of SEPULTURA
was elected best Brazilian guitarrist by net users and
readers of the most prestigious Brazilian
Metal and Rock magazine: Roadie Crew.
And there were some good competitors among the list
like Moyses Kolense (KRISIUN)
and Edu Arduanuy (DR. SIN).
Furthermore, SEPULTURA was nominated
"Best International Band" on Revolver Golden Gods
from US Revolver Magazine. The awards ceremony will
happen on April 11th.
Still touring the great album "Kairos" (2011)
and with new drummer, SEPULTURA is preparing
to play on next edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa.
Congratulations to Andreas Kisser for this
more than deserved award.

And bad (but kind of repetitive) news for
the fans of Swedish ARCH ENEMY.
The guitar Christopher Amott has left the band
once more after returning in 2007.
The reason is that the guitarrist don't want
to play the sound style adopted by the band:
the Melodic Death Metal.
Weird, isn't it? But, there are some times things
happen like this.
According to press release Amott's leave
was friendly and a common agreement.
The band is already rehearsing with another guitarrist
and his name is to be revealed.
But, come to think of it, they could announce that
Angela Gossow would make a sexy Metal photo session,
couldn't they?
With some chains and all... Let's cheers for that!
(Just kidding! Please don't sue me!)

PLEIADES
And continuing with Metal/Rock bands female vocalists...
Ships sailing to success for Pleiades, band from
Minas Gerais state, Brazil, that is gathering
a lot of attention nationwide.
If you don't know what I am talking about
just make a quick search on YouTube and you'll
find the reason why.
Well! The band has recently shown up on TV and now
are selling out ticket across the country...
Or at least in the country side of Minas Gerais.
Last February 25th, on Ipatinga City, the band has
sold out and crowded a local club letting a lot of
people outside.
Nice! Quality horns for them, the girls sings
freaking well and here's the "Fire Fire!" clip.
MARILYN MANSON
And one of the most strange, contradictory and weird
figures of Metal/Rock spoke about his new album
"Born Villain"
According to the artist the disc is splendid,
cinematic in the sense that when you’re
watching a movie and you feel the tension
of the score or what’s happening in the
film and something violent is gonna happen.
Besides, MANSON also feels it his
most conceptual work to date and really
tells a story.
Let's wait and see? Those who want to listen
to a 30 sec sample of "No Reflection" single
just check the links below, ok?

KIKO LOUREIRO
The guitarrist KIKO LOUREIRO from Angra
has posted a video in his YouTube channel
showing the recording of his new solo album and also
has posted some info about it.
The video reveals that the album will be
released on July 2012 and bassist Felipe Andreoli
and drummer Virgil Donati will participate.
The disc is being recorded in Helsinke, Finland,
on "5by5 Studios" and is the fourth of his solo carrier.

UNEARTHLY
The Brazilian blackmetallers from Unearthly
were highlighted on a Czeck Metal magazine.
Their album "Flagellus Dei" (2011) had
high grades by the local critics that
placed the album on 20th in a 50 ranked list.
A great position if you ask me.
The band continues to tour through Brazil
and soon will confirm their world tour.
Source: "Metal Media" congrats and check their
"Age of Chaos" video.
APOCALYPTICA
It is well known that Metal and Rock had a
good chemistry with Classical Music,
but what the people from this orchestra do
is insanily good.
After a lot of small talk, *** and fake announcements
the rock orchestra APOCALYPTICA's second visit
to Brazil was confirmed as a single
concert in São Paulo City next June 2nd.
The group became famous worldwide after recording
on cellos and drums eternal Metallica classics.
Look for videos on YouTube and you'll see
I'm not exagerating!
And ON CELLOS!!!!
Whish to know more?
Take a look on the links below.

This next news is about Cinema.
It has something to do with Brazilian Rock, but it is
not about a new band or song,
but I had to talk about it because
it's about RAUL SEIXAS
(Raul Seixas is a famous Brazilian musician
who made a huge success on the 1970's.
Understand it as a Brazilian Elvys Presley.)
The film
"Raul - The beginning, the end and the middle"
will premiere nationwide on March 23rd.
The movie has the testimonials
from his wives, daughters, friends, musicians,
music profesionals and partners who lived
and worked with the artist.
The movie is directed by Walter Carvalho,
same director of "Cazuza".
The film won the Itamaraty Awards as
"Best Brazilian Documentary" in
2011 "Mostra Internacional de Cinema"
in São Paulo City.
For those who never screamed "Toca Raul!"
in any Brazilian concert, dude,
You've never gone to a concert in Brazil.
("Toca Raul" is a saying like
Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" in US.)

AGENDA
And next week's agenda is going to make no one
stay at home. At least you will have the
excuse to go out with your friends,
drink some cheap drinks and have a terrible
headache next morning, not saying the terrible neckache
and a humming in your ear.
This agenda is meant for Brazilians only.
Foreigners can check out dates on
Metal/Rock websites of your own country, ok?
Matanza live at Natal City on March 16th
and Fortaleza City on March 17th.
BH Metal Fest, proving that Belo Horizonte City
is not only "samba", "pagode" and country music,
on March 18th.
And the only cover band authorized by
Iron Maiden itself, The Iron Maidens live
at Catanduva City on March 17th. And this
one is also worthy because of the Metal Hots
that play in the band! DUUUUUUUUUDE!!!! Seriously...
And that's all, headbangers!
Usual messages: send us an email through

why you didn't like that we will not like it,
but we'll respect it, 'cause everyone is a critic. :P
And before Charlie Sheen shows up
as a superband host, we're leaving.
Why people think Charlie Sheen would be
a good host? Only if he gets drunk...
Actually...
Stay Metal!
