You can protect your documents with Specialty Imaging Fonts and Effect using Lytrod Software
and Xerox's Specialty Imaging.
I will show you how two of these effects are created.
The first is a 2-Layer Fluorescent Effect.
This effect displays one layer of text under natural light,
and a second layer of text under fluorescent light.
The second SI effect shown on this ticket is MicroText,
which is a text so small it cannot be accurately duplicate or altered.
Start by choosing that variable that will be hidden.
I am going to choose the variable "Ticket Number".
Place it on the form.
And as you can see the text block automatically shows up as horizontal.
I want this to be vertical to fit within my design, so with the text block selected
I am going to go to "Tools"
"Rotate"
and choose "270" degrees.
Click "OK".
and now Right-click,
Choose "Format Data"
and from within in the "Data Properties" window you'll see the "Specialty Imaging" tab.
This is where I can choose the effect that I'd like to apply to the text.
From the "Type" drop-down, I am going to select "Fluorescent Text 2-layer".
Down here from the "Layer 2 Color" I am going to choose "Cyan"
The "Color Pair," I can choose whatever color I'd like.
It is automatically populated with the color pairs that correlate with the
first layer that you chose.
So I am going to choose "UV_LIMEGREEN1"
Type in the variable, static, or combination of both text that's going to appear,
and click "OK".
My text box wasn't big enough so I'm going to stretch this out
so you can see all the variables.
And on screen what you're seeing is the text that will be visible in natural light.
To view the second layer of "hidden text"
go to "View"
"Options", "Specialty Imaging Layer-2" and un-check that option
and there you'll see the variable ticket number that will be hidden.
Now to apply MicroText, I select the "Line Draw" tool.
Draw a line where I'd like the MicroText to appear.
Right-Click
Choose "Format Line".
And in the "MicroText" section is where I am choose all my formatting options.
So from the first drop-down is where I can choose the size.
"Small"
The text that I would like to appear
within this MicroText line
would be that variable seat.
So right before that I'm going to type "Seat:"
And in the "Repetition" drop-down is where I can choose how many time I'd like the variable
or static text to repeat within this MicroText line,
or I can choose "Fit to Length" and it will repeat it as many times as needed
to fit the length of the line.
So click "OK"
And the MicroText is very small, but if I zoom in you'll be able to see that tiny variables.
