Funny moments...ah...in general are actually....the things that are funny to listen to is other
people when you're out flying. And communication with others, as far as the tower, and air
traffic control goes, is, is listening to other people screw up. 'Cause it's always
funny when you're not the one that screws up, and you can listen to other people screw
up. As far as training, some....a particular experience I had that wasn't so funny at first,
but to look back on it afterwards actually was pretty funny, is not, like I said, not
everyone is made for flying. And I had a particular experience where I was sitting in the right
seat, teaching somebody how to fly, and he began to get a little queasy, a little sick.
And he wasn't too quick about telling me that he was sick, and he actually didn't really
let me know until he was about ready to throw up that he was sick. And, it's kind of back
when I first started. I wasn't quite sure where to find the bags for that. I searched
through the aircraft. I looked in the little glove box, I was searching behind the seats
looking for a bag for him to throw up in. And I never did get to the bag in time, and
at the last minute I just decided to tell him to open up the window, and just throw
up out the window. And he was relatively new and wasn't quite sure if it was safe to open
the window, so I had to convince him that first he could open the window, and then again
to remove the microphone from his face before he threw up. And then, at the....in an aircraft,
generally the speed you're flying at, once he did finally throw up outside, it painted
pretty much the whole left side of the airplane with his lunch, and then as we got back down,
had to kind of help him....walk him through how to clean it up. So, at the time it wasn't
so funny, but at the end of the day I looked back at it, and it was actually a pretty funny
experience.
