Since our founding in 1915, Western Construction Group has prided itself on strong work ethics
and dedication in restoring structures to their original glory. It's this culture that
has led us to be the largest specialty contractor in our industry. Designed by Francis H. Kimball
and constructed in 1889, the Corbin building features a highly ornamental terra-cotta façade
prominent to buildings of its era. Work scope items included in the restoration of this
historic landmark were: Restoring the terra cotta, brick, cast iron, window bays and store
fronts. The condition of the terra cotta and masonry units required 100% repointing. The
Brownstone storefronts and main staircase were reconstructed back to the original design
restoring the building's former charm and elegance. Western Construction group: America's
Master Craftsmen in Building Restoration and Preservation.
