The one thing that was really unique about OutSystems is the fact that it covered the entire life cycle.
I have used so many tools in the past and they were...you see a lot of them,
and they really focus on one thing: just developing the software.
We don't use the platform only for application development anymore, so it's...
It's much more become, overtime, sort of a swiss army knife for us.
That's really the only thing out there that allows you to put software together
that addresses your needs fairly quickly, and make adjustments, just as quickly.
Normally, it would have been six months to, in my past life, for example,
to bring something to light, whether it was a report, or a customer facing web item.
Here, we can deliver things every two weeks.
Our users were able to get their hands on the application much quicker
than in a traditional development that we do in our company.
With the Agile Platform, we thought they were seeing the application developed within weeks.
At least small pieces of it and overtime they started to get their hands on things
much sooner than in our traditional development.
Oh! It's been a great experience for us, so far.
We were able to always get support for issues, very, very quickly and
either find a solution, get a patch, or at least get a feasible work-around,
in a very, very short amount of time.
I have to say, this is the honest truth, I've said this to many people, that
OutSystems is probably one of the best vendors I've ever worked with.
It wasn't about you and I, it wasn't about we and them, it was about us, together as a team.
And they work well with us. If there was an obstacle, we found ways around it!
And it wasn't: "well, you need to go do this, you need to go do that, it's not our problem."
It was one team!
